A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

#CelebratingOthers-Light- with Julie Hughes

I am a huge fan of #CelebratingOthers and today is no different when Writing in Community (WIC) author Julie Hughes' book, My Road, My Road hit the front stoop by an Amazon delivery person this week. We are thrilled that Julie not only published this book, but her book of poems, Run to Boston, as well.

Now the two of us will be wrestling on who gets to read Julie’s book cover to cover first. Reading along with many in WIC is different than holding the finished book in my/our hands.

Cheers to Julie! Cheers to snuggling under the quilts and reading books (and watching the Beatles new documentary)! Let the downtime (chill) take over the house this holiday season.

Yours too!

bSoleille!
