A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Is It Really Cold Enough?

The deep freeze is on, especially in the Midwest and West where temps are below zero and cities are practically shut down. I get that, there is no messing with frostbite and treacherous roadways. But here in Maryland, though cold enough and ready to drop to single digits tonight, it's not really that bad (no snow).  Hopefully, my car will start in the morning and we will hunker down with lots of quilts and down comforters!

My photo today was taken by "The Best Daughter" of our dog, Loo-C-Loo, when we still had the snow (yesterday). Though the Big Loo-C-Loo is a mixed breed, her husky traits ooze out of her with her loving-the-cold, ice and snow kind of ways!

BSoleille!  The bright side of an extra warm quilt on the bed!
