A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Gearing Up for Richmond Half Marathon

After doing this race for several years with “The Best Daughter” and Linda Misencik, I finally convinced (coerced) hubby Bill to try it too. Actually, he wanted to come down and give it a whirl, along with Linda’s husband, Mark. So the two of us sailed down to Richmond earlier in the day to hit the expo and gather up all the bib numbers and race packets for our tribe. We then all met up, thankfully, at our Airbnb in Short Pump for the rest of the evening.

The 5:00am wake up call comes early so we need to hit the hay fast.

BSoleille! The bright side of nearing the end of my Double Nickel “55” Tour!
