A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Eat, Laugh, Sew

I am thankful to be on another quilt retreat, this time with the "Possibillibees" at West River Retreat Center. I just plain ran out of "time" yesterday posting a blog because I wanted to finish all the projects I was working on. Of course that would never happen but it was a good try.

Most of today I spent working and FINISHING a Downton Abbey tote bag. Two weeks ago at our quilt show I bought a "kit" including the new line of Downton Abbey fabric and decided today would be great to tackle the directions (thanks Janet) and take it to the finish completed. My photos include the half bag this afternoon and the completed tote at 11:09 pm.

BSoleille!  The bright side of a "finish"!
