A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

The Bluest Eye

Toni Morrison is not the only one that has used/or can use the title of: The Bluest Eye. By the looks of my dog, Loo-C-Loo, she definitely has pretty blue eyes that I tried to capture up close and "personal."

Unfortunately, she is not one to "love" the camera, or camera phone in this case, as she typically looks the other way, seems bored, and generally is not that "cooperative" when I or anyone wants to photograph her. She's funny like that, and who would think that a dog would be so "shy" about a photo? My other dogs have been total hams and proud to smile and show their pearly whites, but not this one. I have to be clever and sly to get a "good" one of her. Interestingly, as you can see, the eyeball is not totally focused, but those downward eyelashes that are focused seem quite perfect in protecting this dog, and any dog, from dust and any eye harm. A study of nature for sure!

BSoleille!
