A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

CAPS! CAPS! CAPS! Stanley Cup Champions!!!

A sea of red in DC and, more importantly, in Vegas, cheering on the Washington Capitals who stupendously won the STANLEY CUP "FINAL" 4-1 over the Golden Knights! I’m so happy and thankful for the entire team and organization (and the fact husband Bill worked for them for 20 years!) and giddy that the 40 year dry spell without winning the cup is now over. NHL hockey is something else and the 2018 season is the 125th running of a great sporting event!

I’m also thrilled with the persistence and tenacity of Alexander Ovechkin, and, by the way, MVP of the tournament, Nick Backstrom and Braden Holtby and the rest of the boys in plugging away for the past 13 years to make this year the magical one and Stanley Cup Champions!! Thrilled beyond words!!

BSoleille! The bright side of Wooohoooo!!!!

Terri
