Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Bocce Ball and Sunsets

I’m very thankful to spend the weekend with a great mix of family and friends on Kelley’s Island. Besides the race of either the 5K or 10K on Sunday, this weekend included an impromptu Bocce Ball Tournament at the Smith Lakehouse. A double elimination format with six teams (2 per team), and everyone going everywhere, it took most of the day to get all the games in... even after a glorious sunset tonight. A fantastic pasta dinner rounded out a fantastic day!
