A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Wedded Bliss #28

In celebration of 28 years of married life, we slept in a wee bit but then promptly went on a bike ride, followed by a stop at Dunkin Donuts for coffee and iced tea, and then finally arrived at our final destination in DC; the NEWSEUM, a place my groom had never been before. We had a great time going through all the exhibits, with plans on returning very soon to see more!  It's a smorgasbord of information coming at you from all angles, and a must do for locals and tourists alike. Our thoughts on spending a few hours there during the year included when weather is cold or rainy or too hot and humid for outdoor activity. Now to execute those thoughts regularly.

BSoleille! The bright side of "adventure around every corner in DC" (with hubby)!
