A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

JMU Bound (Second to Last Trip)

"The Best Daughter" has already graduated in May from the fine institution that is James Madison University. However, she has stayed on to take a CPA Boot Camp course offered through the university that just ended, but she plans on continuing her studies until the bitter end (lease expires on the house). That gives her approximately one more month in Harrisonburg, VA, and the daunting task of the finality of totally moving out!  So a quick mommy visit enabled her to study whilst yours truly cleaned out the kitchen and panty and took a full carload of stuff to Goodwill this afternoon. This is after a hilly 4 mile run through campus (there is no getting around "them there" hills!

BSoleille! The bright side of helping my daughter through a transition coming soon.
