In my area, there are 35,000 homes without power. It’s not the worse thing, of course, and the silver lining is a quiet home. No clangs and bangs from the air conditioner, or clicks and clacks from the refrigerator, or no annoying noises radiating from the hot water tank. Right now, six hours in the outage, we need ice for our freezer full of food.
I know we are not the only area affected by the large swath of the Isaisas storm and rainfall, but we now have sunny skies and warm temperatures across our region.
I hope everyone stays safe!
