Hikes and Happy Hour

Terrific weather blessed the Boulder area today as the day progressed, all topped off by a couple of hikes near Skunk Canyon as it looks out into the distance to N.C.A.R. (National Center for Atmospheric Research). Another hike with no wildlife in sight (a good thing according to my hiking partners today), though I still keep a keen eye out for a bear or mountain lion...someday?

The late summer afternoon sky was perfect for the "backdrop" for Caitlin and Julian's Cocktail party on the terrace of the Boulderado Hotel. It was a great mingle with family and friends those closest with the bride and groom to be. Everyone looking forward to their big day tomorrow, and so am I.
