A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Cruising through the Heartland

Saying goodbye to the Colorado Mountains was somewhat "sad", but driving back East with my co-pilot/son, Ryan, to the rest of the family and a routine, seems just about the "ticket" right now.

However, the "deal" was to stop at Major League Baseball Parks on the way home for a home game in that city. No home game for the Kansas City Royals as we cruised through yesterday, but thankfully, a day home game for the St Louis Cardinals fit the bill today! And as the 7th Inning Stretch and sing-a-long draws to a close, the Cards lead 4-3 (Cards even had two exciting home runs in the game thus far!)

I must admit, The Cardinal Nation Field is quite lovely with its amazing sight lines and backdrop of the "Gateway to the West" Arch, with the temperature at game time - 85 degrees and sunny skies - what's not to like? Play ball!! Thankful!

One last thing for my blogpost readers (l love you all!), the corn is now about up to my chin (that's through Kansas and Missouri), so its grown about 2ft. in the last two plus weeks-Wow!

BSoleille! The bright side of a baseball rally (almost) and the fact that Ryan (and Daddy Bill) got to a home Colorado Rockies game in Denver as well during the trip.
