A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

"Top Finisher" at Retreat

The three quilt tops completed this weekend were in various states of the process of completion even before I hit the retreat center. This means I had squares already precut to just sew, or some parts of the blocks were already done ahead of time so I could finish them whilst sitting and sewing for 15 straight hours!  However, the operative word here is "finish", no matter what state the project is in. And...we do break for meals and snacks.....a lot on the snack side both salty and sweet to help carry us through the day.

So as this weekend draws to a close, I am thankful for another great weekend of friendship and finished projects on the West River.

BSoleille!  The bright side of being a "top finisher" of quilt tops!
