A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Another Tomato Story

Earlier this week someone dropped off a lunch bag full of tomatoes much to my delight and surprise on my doorstep.   No note or markings on the bag, so I had no idea who would have known or remembered how much I/we love that red fruit. Fast forward to this afternoon when I met up with a friend at the pool, and then made quick dinner plans at their house for an impromptu BBQ. As we starting talking about their huge garden with lots of tomato plants, (as well as a large bowl of them in their kitchen), in passing, I mentioned "someone" had dropped off a bag of them several days ago.  Bingo, it was them, they just forgot to tell us!  So a huge thank you to the Flanagan's for the delicious homegrown delectable sweet tomatoes of 2014!
