Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Quiet Home

Back to the dogs for me? My daughter has gone back to college this morning, and I dropped my son off at the airport this morning as well for him to visit relatives in Cleveland, Ohio. I forgot how quiet the house can get without them around as the omission of noise came through loud and clear.

I guess I'm thankful for my two crazy dogs to keep the vibe of the house going until the kids get back home!
