A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Olympic Coverage

I hope most people around the world are enjoying the Games as much as I am. And as technology has advanced, coupled with social media, the results of the Games' various sports and competitions are known immediately, and I like this, especially with the time difference.

However, I have noticed that NBC, who is televising most of the Games, holding back the results so viewers will tune in. I get this but I think most people already know the outcomes. I hope NBC will "learn" to use all the technology available to them and step out of their paradigm to make it enjoyable for all.

On the other hand, I am thankful they are streaming live a lot of venues, and I am using my iPad for the viewing. I bet at the 2016 games that's how the world will be watching!!!

BSoleille!
