A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Spring Picnic

There are 10 minutes left of today, this first day spring. Here in Maryland the sun was brilliantly shining from the moment I woke up. It warmed up a bit, but really still a little chili. However, I did finish the Mattie Miracle Foundation quilt I promised the founders, Vicki and Peter Brown. Their event (walk) is in May, but I wanted to get it done! This red and white quilt will be raffled off in one of their themed baskets which, I believe, will be paired with Wolf Trap tickets and other "picknicky" items. The pattern is called a Disappearing 4-patch and was fun to make!

BSolielle!
