A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

What Kind of Packer Are You?

So when you go on a trip, do you overpack? Underpack? Or pack "just right" (channeling the Three Bears...of travel!) It seems like I can go for a weekend, or two weeks, with pretty much the same doggone things. I pack stuff, then take stuff out. Weather is a biggie, as you have to pack for various temperatures...and then the shoes/sandals/boots/sweaters/coats/jackets....yikes! The thing you leave out, thinking you'll never need it, is the one thing you find that you should have packed. We've all been there and tackled these travel woes. But, thankfully, whatever is packed will have to do in any far flung place around the world or simple a weekend getaway. We can and will get by, I'm convinced!

I will add that once I used everything in my suitcase and bags...but that is very rare.  I tend to overpack more than pack "just right". And "just right" is where I'd love to get to someday.

How about you?

BSolielle! The bright side of traveling light!
Terri
