A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

The Boo Crew

Several years ago I made a similar quilt entitled “Cats n’ Pumpkins”, and it even won a blue ribbon at the Southern Comforters Quilt Guild annual show. However, our home’s “black hole” swallowed up this quilt and I cannot find it anywhere, so I recreated it, and added a few ideas to the design for the new and “improved”, and now entitled “The Boo Crew.”

In addition to the mice and big print border, I increased the size of the cats and pumpkins and overall design. After it’s quilted (hopefully tomorrow), I plan to hang it in kitchen for some Halloween “spirit!”

...and you know...the other one will turn up sometime...

BSoleille! The bright side of fall fun.
