A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Ten Months Post Surgery for Ryan is Good

Our appointment today with Dr. Ord at the University of Maryland went well, and we are thankfully, and collectively, (the family) able let out one big sigh of relief. It’s been exactly 10 months since his last surgery, and we are doubly thankful to report on Ryan’s continued healthy follow up exams. It’s taken a long time for his tongue to fully heal and now grateful on how far he has come on many fronts with that huge battle behind him.

BSoleille! The bright side of a good medical report.

Way to go "Worrier" Ryan, I am so happy for you and your family. Never had a doubt he wouldn't fight with all he's got.
