A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

One Lucky Dog

That's right, our little poodle mix, "Lucky" turned 12 years old today. He is still quite spunky and can fetch and bring back balls and other throw toys better than any lab I know. This can go on for a better part of an hour if you let him. And the funny thing about him is that the pitch of his "play" bark gets higher and higher the longer we throw the ball/toy. We quit playing before he does-that's for sure.

I'm thankful he was the "lucky" puppy selected 12 years ago by the kids, and he has been a great joy to have as part of our family.

BSoleille!  The bright side of dogs are people too!
