A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Setting Sun

While driving over to my quilt guild meeting tonight, I could not get over the beautiful big orange ball setting in the distance. I quickly opened my window, got the phone camera in ready mode and snapped one shot of this beauty. Within the next minute the sun went down and I did not even look at the photo until now. Wow, even with the power lines and the "can't miss Sunoco sign" in the background, I think this is a great shot!

And to top it off, today's sun was one you could look straight at and not be blinded, at least this evening, and I'm thankful for that!

BSoleille! For the bright side of a setting sun.
