A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

A Stump Grinder Video Game?

Whoa, you've got to be kidding me on what my eyes saw yesterday! I heard some loud "chain saw" sounds coming from my neighbor's front yard, and when I looked out to see, I saw an "unmanned" stump grinder grinding up a stump. Fair enough, right? I then walked out to the front yard to see this "unmanned" machine up close and personal. Well, not too close, and not too personal since I saw a young man with a remote control in his hand wearing a face mask and goggles and standing a good distance away since wood chips were flying all over the place. And by the looks of it, that young man was working that stump like nobody's business, and perhaps, having a grand time doing it with that remote control in his hands like it was a game. Maybe so?

Seems to me those little remote cars have nothing on the big honkin' stump grinder with today's technology!

BSoleille!
