A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Love my Sports Car!

I need to give a shout out to my wheels that I have had for seven years now.  It was bought with 56,000 miles on it, and now I'm pushing 200,000.  So my ride is a "little big" for a sports car, but let me tell you that thing  can haul......stuff!  Man, I can haul a bunch of soccer players, gear for a family of 4 to the beach, debris and big branches from my trees (when I take out the seats) and two quilters and all their gear (including two office chairs) when going to a retreat!  I bet you guessed it's not a Miata, but a Honda Odyssey!  Keep my ride alive!

Your car is undoubtedly sporty! :D Sporty by the standards of minivans. It definitely looks like it can haul. Just by looking at the outside, I can tell that it’s very spacious inside! How was the first ride in this thing?

Not a surprise because I know how spacious the Honda Odyssey really is. My sister owns one. She literally begged her husband for that car the moment she laid eyes on it at the car dealership. When she invited me to ride with her in her precious car, I saw how huge the interior is. Safe too! It has airbags on all sides.

It wasn’t the typical definition of a sports car but hey, it’s really a great car for those who are up for trips and adventures! :D You and your friends will enjoy a ride in this minivan because it’s spacious. Not only will it carry many passengers but it can carry a lot of luggage as well.
