A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

May Day - Love is in the Air - Pagon Wedding!

Attending a wedding no matter where in the world is a sacred time, not only for the beautiful bride and groom, but their respective families, friends and guests. I felt honored to be invited. Well wishes for a happy life floated over the venue like the endless and abundant sunshine that their day provided (a great thing for typical Ohio weather in early May!).

My travel partners embarking from Cleveland to Columbus, Ohio, Debbie M. and Sarah M., made the adventure all worthwhile! With three talkative chicas, the almost two hour drive breezed on by. We traveled to celebrate this wonderful occasion of the marriage of Nicholas and Rachel Pagon; along with Nick’s parents, Kata and Len. It was a very lovely day - from soup to nuts!

The stunning venue at Oak Grove at Jorgensen Farms was the perfect backdrop for the bride and groom to say their, “I do’s.” I always feel weddings are one of life’s loveliness of being human and making a connection to another human to share a life together. There is something that is cherished that wedding day for the couple and their families, and the feeling of starting something anew.

Love was certainly in the air! BSoleille! The bright side of a newly married couple - Nick and Rachel Pagon!
