A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Crystal Light!

No, it's not the drink powder...it's the streaks of rainbow colors that light across my walls, or in today's post, my book. Instead of curtains or drapes, I have a plethora of crystals that hang in my southwestern facing windows that showcase a beautiful array of color whenever it's sunny (and it's a lot—even in January!) When I sat down to read this morning, with a cup of hot tea at the ready, the sunlight was great enough to light up my page, and I had to share the joy of light with you.

It's the simple things in life...

The book is: The Liar's Club by Mary Karr
