A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

A New Quilting Record Broken

Now that is not a headline you will ever see in print in a media outlet. Frankly, establishing any type athletic record is a thing of the past, but alas, personal records can be broken on a daily basis. Today I broke my machine quilting record by one- meaning I machine quilted three decent size T-shirt quilts on my "baby long-arm". And I'm tired, as that took me just under nine hours. But I'm thankful that the machine behaved and I accomplished what I set out to do!

Tomorrow I will finish my last T-shirt quilt for 2012-whooohooo!

BSoleille! The bright side of a new personal record!
