Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

A Great 4th of July

Started the day with a 28 mile bike ride with my husband and electricity. Middle of the day started with a nap and no electricity. Once the house started heating up I ended my day at the pool with the hope the electricity would come back on and it did (of course I also went out of my way to get some ice for the cooler that's planted in the kitchen probably for the duration of the summer).

My photo today was taken at the pool with Laura and Kathy who invited me to share some Maryland crabs at their picnic table. That's a perfect 4th of July!
