One has to start very early in the morning to "properly" smoke pulled pork on the Traeger (and chicken wings yesterday) to get a jump start on the upcoming weekend on Kelleys Island, Ohio. Wingman Ryan didn't disappoint as he rose with the sun to start the day long process of tenderly working with the meat. Thankfully, he loves to cook this way, and took the day in stride with meticulously maintaining proper temperatures and brining the meat with his "secret combinations" of various vinegars and spices. The strong flavors wafting from the meat had to turn some heads in the neighborhood in our direction because it smelled sooo good!
