A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

This is not the exact update I wanted to write, but here it goes:

Dr. Robert Ord called this afternoon to both Ryan and I with the pathology results. The tumor was a wee bit larger than was originally thought (4mm), and not favorable. There is a 25-33% chance there is cancer in the lymph nodes, and most likely, a much higher percentage for Ryan based on his long history. Surgery will be scheduled mid January for their removal (lymph nodes). I realize there are no words left to say on this "new" development, but we are so very thankful to the overwhelming support of prayers, positive thoughts and well-wishes to this remarkable young man. He is truly a focused warrior and will continue to fight this battle and deepen his faith as he, and we, march forward. One. Day. At. A. Time.
