A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Fresh Flowers in 2013

The biggest challenge in writing a blog almost daily is trying to keep things fresh, and for me, to try and refrain from repeating things I posted last year. Today's post is "new" because my idea of always keeping fresh flowers in the kitchen was inspired in January 2013. I usually purchase carnations due to their longevity in vase of cool water. They last between 3-4 weeks and look great day after day. I get whatever color looks best the day I'm buying a new bouquet, and I'm never tired of having fresh flowers!

BSoleille! The bright side of a colorful spray of fresh flowers.
