A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

I’m "Frilled"

I do realize that I’m on a "no-frills" retreat, but the great conversations that ping around the room, the advice (wanted or not) and the endless hum of the sewing machines is "frilling" to me!

Besides lots of Needleonfull work, I’ve snuck in a few extra projects (tote bags and churn dash blocks for a bee swap) and cheering on the other retreaters with their projects (completed or not). I have not worn the crown of completion...yet...but there is still time (hee hee).

Above quilt made by Pat Scully (on right): "Wanderlust", a Bonnie Hunter pattern from her book: " Addicted to Scraps." Susie Stevenson on left.
