A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

12 Years

I simply ran out of "time" yesterday to blog, as I waited patiently while the Cubs had the "hot" bats and secured the World Series win over my beloved Cleveland Indians 8-7!  It was 12:50 am when game 7 finally ended, and too late to do anything but hit the hay!

So without further adieu today, a big shout of THANKS to everyone who helped Ryan on his journey of childhood cancer and 12 years post Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant! How did we all get here? One. Day. At. A. Time. Ryan continues to shine bright and his story has become very inspirational to many!  We are thankful and proud of the young man he is today despite his tongue cancer this past May and all the angst that that entailed.

BSoleille! The bright side of celebrating by voting early (Ryan) and dinner out! Photo from two weeks ago at the Columbus Marathon with Uncle Don Tomoff!
