A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Etsy Live

Etsy “Live” is your local artisans craft show. Instead of clicking through hundreds of pages (of maybe something particular) on-line, “live” means perusing hand-crafted items by wildly talented artists and talking with them about their wares...even possibly buying a trinket or two.

Today I headed over to the Greenbelt, Maryland, Craft Festival where some very talented artists were selling their items (juried in). But the best thing was my quilt guild, the Southern Comforters of Bowie got into the show and had a booth to sell raffle tickets for our 2018 quilt, plus afforded several members to sell their hand made items as well. With so many talented members, it was, thankfully,  another venue to showcase their items and hard work that goes into making them.

BSoleille!
