A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Late to the "Game" ?

Contact style. Maybe it is true that I just got on the "bandwagon" for daily contact lenses, but it is a real "eye opener" for me! As a contact lens wearer for over 40 years, I've run the gamut of hard lenses, semi-hard lenses, then in college, soft lenses, and now....November 1, 2016, dailies! My husband and daughter have been singing their praises for several years now, but I was comfortable with my "old system". It worked, so why bother changing? At my latest eye exam, the doc gave me five days worth of dailies to try. No obligation to buy, of course. I tried them, and liked them, but still had a few months left with the monthly lenses. So today was the day to "officially" start wearing them, and thankfully, today was "clear" as a bell.  And more more thing, I really do think I see a smidge better (I'll take that!). I know is it no lasik surgery, but it has to be the next best thing!

BSoleille!

Good for you, I've been wearing dailies for several years now but I keep them for a week at a time, just take them out at night put them in solution and they are good to go. Makes them last longer that way.
