A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Take Some, Leave Some

In a blink of an eye, five years went by like that (click your fingers once)! Meaning  "The Best Daughter" moved back home today with everything she owns and closed out a house where four roommates once lived for the past two years. Lots of packing, cleaning and moving furniture, and a new adjustment or adventure will start tomorrow. I am thankful to have rented a big honkin' pick up truck (Chevy Silverado) to haul most of her things back home. Funny thing though, I have the mentality of driving small cars, and was surprised how "king of the road-like" driving a Big A$$ Truck felt, even for one day!

BSoleille! The bright side of safe travels of all day hauling. Oh, and notice in the big trash bin the "shot skis" sticking out!
