A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

A Great Thank You

One of the greatest "gifts" in life, besides love, is being appreciated and validated by people you value and love. And from a work perspective, pretty much the same thing. Today I am thankful that the nurse I have been working with since August 20th really appreciates my "logic, directness, initiative, and most of all my enthusiasm and energy".

I have been going to work everyday with a can-do attitude and making each day count. So I was surprised by the beautiful flower she also gave me because the above sentiment meant the world to me. I will be going back to Broadneck Elementary School at the end of October for a spell, but today ended my eight week long term assignment there.

BSoleille! The bright side of being appreciated!

Terri
