I am thankful that my friend and former co-worker at the State of Ohio, Patti, drove safely through all the bad weather patterns and big fat raindrops and arrived in Maryland in good time and good spirits as well! It's been fun catching up with her, plus all the updates on many of my former co-workers (so many of them have retired!) that we've talked nonstop for about 3 hours straight!
We took a break and went out to dinner at the Green Turtle, and even took my son Ryan with us do he can order his favorite wingdings. My photo is of me and Patti waiting to be seated (busy on a Tuesday night-maybe because of loss of power due to wind and storms).
