A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Christmas Spirit

As a quilter, one of the ways we like to celebrate the season is to have every bed in the house "decorated" with a Christmas quilt. I have always like the holiday fabrics, but thought that I had too much one year (Christmas-themed fabric), so I  hammered my time and produced several quilts to "finish" my stash of all my holiday themed fabric. I did pretty well in using up all my fabrics, and only have a little bit left that I may "need" for a small project someday.

I may still may get a tree up, and decorate a little around the house, but the beds are all set for the season, and I'm thankful for that!

BSoleille!
