A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Let the "New Year" Begin...

Pardon me, but I base my year with the starting of school in late August or early September. It simply makes sense to me, (but I will celebrate on 12/31 as well, because why not?) Once January 1st hits, it's like the second half of the year, not the "beginning."

So the "fall" sports teams are out and competing, even though the temperatures are in the 90's here in Maryland. For me, it's back on the pitch, enjoying all the high school athletes donning their school uniforms with pride; coaches barking instructions from the sidelines, and lots of parents observing their kids in action. And that freshed cut grass is totally awesome (unless the game is on turf!) Wooohoo!

BSoleille!
