A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Happy New Year Sweet 2016

Believe it or not, today starts the fifth year of blogging from quiltsfromtheheart! I plan on blogging most days, but will miss some days from time to time, usually one day a week. So far I have not missed two days in a row, and that's about right for me.

So here we are, a clean slate to the start off another year of gratitude and thankfulness. What are your plans to be the best you can be in 2016?  For me, I hope to continue honing my quilting skills (the quilt show is on the horizon in March), read more books, travel, stay in touch with family and friends, and as Natalie Cole sang, "be unforgettable too" for my husband and kids. May Ms. Cole rest in peace-she had a voice like an angel.

BSoleille! The bright side of a brand new year to make a difference, no matter how big or small. Now that is a resolution I/we
can muster for the next 365 days, yes?
