A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Great Lengths

Believe it it not, quilters contort not only their fabric to "fit" in a block, or in a machine, or in a design, we contort our bodies while laying one out as seen by my photo today. I spotted fellow quilter, Janet McCabe, as she so gingerly stretched her entire body to place a 5" square of fabric in just the right spot. Since I was a part of this swap too, I have some yoga stretches up my sleeve so when I begin my layout of my blocks, I will be all stretched out for block placement!

BSoleille!  The bright side of going to great lengths for block placement on a large quilt.
