A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Imported 588 Photos

The disk on our camera needed to be "dumped" onto my computer,  and other drives kept by my husband, so I carved out a few minutes to do this task.  Well, that prompted me to take a peek on just what was on it and it was basically our entire summer of 2013 up to and including today.  I'm glad I took the time, and will share a few photos from the "archives" this week that I thought are pretty good ones!  Today's photo is from Higgin's Lake, Michigan.  It's my brother-in-law, Don (who is an identical twin to my husband); even though it's a silhouette, it's Don.  And I have to be honest,  just to make sure my gut was correct and it was him, I did look at a few others I had of him walking down the dock, and was able to discern it was him by his sandals!

BSoleille!  The bright side of a great silhouette photo.
