A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Last Week of High School

The kids are getting older, but we stay the same! This week is my son's last full week of high school, then on to graduation at the end of the month (May, that is). Where did that time go? This past Friday was the last day the senior class had to wear their uniform, but they could do anything to it for that last day. Ryan tried to dye it with a friend but they missed a step in the dying process and it did not hold.

So Ryan thought he would spray paint it instead. He went to the store, bought the paint and spray painted his shirt. By golly that stuff stinks! The paint held all right, stiff as a board and barely able to wear due to the smell of the thing, but he pressed on to school. Ahh, to be young again.

BSoleille!
