A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Charlottesville,VA 1/2 Marathon

A very early race start for the Charlottesville Marathon and 1/2 Marathon on a beautiful sunny spring morning (ok dark at the start) at 6:30am! The best daughter, Olivia, and her BFF, Liz V. competed in this great event. This was Olivia's first foray into long-distance running and respectfully finished in 1:43 placing 60th overall (close to 500 runners); 12th woman and 4th in her age group. That means she won some hardware!

Momma and Papa very proud of her effort and thankful all her hard training paid off today!

BSoleille! The bright side of a good long run (with hills)!

Terri
