A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

A Long Arm Quilt Class

This morning I went to a quilt class to garner some wonderful techniques in Savage, Maryland! (Held in an old library-very cool location). Handi-Quilter and international teacher extraordinaire Debby Brown's professionalism and humor was just what I needed on the eve/eve of getting my "new" machine. Debby has quilted over 3000 quilts and her expertise is bar none! I am very excited to work and enhance my own skills. Unfortunately, I was unable to go to the other sessions this weekend, but will try to learn additional skills with local Handi-Quilter teachers Dawn Stewart and Mary Nielsen.

BSoleille! The bright side of long-arm quilting!

Terri
