A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

A Lightbulb Moment

For lots of people, a "lightbulb" moment is that proverbial "ah ha" moment when a thought or concept crystallizes finally. For those that love the "old" lightbulbs, our time is limited and all of them are slowly burning out and being replaced by the pesky CFL bulbs (which mine hiss by the way). And what is up with darkness when you turn on the light switch? It seems like it takes forever for them to "warm" up, and then when they finally start to shed some decent light, we are done with a task or left the room, and need to turn them off once again. Cheers for saving energy!

BSoleille!  The bright side of bright lights!
