A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

Ingenuity in the Quilt Studio?

My pre-owned HQ Long-Arm came with a computerized Pro Stitcher that I seldom use, and may need to be replaced down the road. However, I typically free arm quilt, and like to look at patterns while I do so, but I do not like to put a book on the quilt while quilting, nor put it behind me (too hard to go back and forth). So I thought why not try to some how "jiggy rig" my iPad in front of me so I can see the pattern or you tube video while I am free motion quilting. VoilĂ ... It may not look pretty, but it got the job done and the quilting looks great on the "minky"back.

BSoleille! The bright side of thinking outside the proverbial box.
