A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

"When You've Got Your Health...

"You've got everything." My Dad, who I've been thinking about all day, would have been 97 today. How crazy is it that this was one of his favorite "sayings?" Let's all face it, he was not far off the mark for anyone living and breathing and world-wide to boot! Thankfully, he enjoyed "relatively"  good health to a ripe age of 77(he had heart disease towards the end).

The photo below was taken in January of 2001 (a couple of months before he died), at the Ryan Tomoff Fundraiser my sisters/family hosted at the Polish Falcon Club on a very cold January night. Olivia and I were able to sneak away from Maryland for the weekend to enjoy the night with so many family and friends coming together for a good cause. It was a magical night I will never forget!

BSoleille!
