A daily record of gratitude; from quilting to photography to a mix of technology, books, movies and the musings of life!

Welcome to my Blog of my daily gratitude and photo of the day!

Since January 1, 2012, my goal is to write a daily sentence or two (or paragraph or two) about gratitude of the day and to include one photo (at least) that I took that day (but will add others from time to time). It has definitely been a challenge most days throughout the past eight years, and welcomed the challenge again this year - 2020 - Covid and all. I hope you will continue the ride with me!

A 10 miler and 2 Soccer Games

A beautiful morning running through the streets of DC with full blooming cherry blossoms and 20,000 runners strong started the day!  Our "CCC Team" did well with everyone finishing and enjoying the event to the best of our abilities: "The Best Daughter" and Liz ran 1:23; cousin Shelli ran 1:47; cousin Kate ran her 5K in 33 minutes and I ran 1:29 to round out the team. Bill graciously held the keys and extra jackets!

And lastly, I got my verbal wish to the family stating, "I'd like to work a couple soccer games today". This was verbalized after seeing a little girl in a soccer uniform at Dunkin Donuts after the race. Five minutes later I received a call to work two games...serendipity I reckon!  Thankful and Tired!

BSoleille!
